Yes yes I know I've been gone a while but I'm checking in now and I hope you are too!
A recap of this semester if you like.
Started first year at uni (AGAIN "-_-).
Made new friends.
Went to Daylesford with Bob.
Numerous racial abuse encounters, one even of a physical nature.
Gabryel visits. Had a lovely time.
Failed clubbing attempt.
Celebrated 21st birthday. Got kickass presents and cakes and obviously friends (well I didn't get the friends I already had them).
That's pretty much it.
On a completely unrelated note, geez some people can be so inconsiderate. I encountered two young not-so-ladies who were having a very long continuous conversation during a lecture. And when the guy in front of them asked them to be quiet, they both started laughing at him and one of them even clapped her hands, as though she was impressed he had dared to stand up to her. And then she continued to talk, louder. If there ever was a bitch I met, this girl would be the one. Obviously wasn't brought up very well. I take that back, I shouldn't say that, might not be her upbringing that was flawed, might just be her who's not very socially apt.
A little childish now no? And to think this sort of people are amongst us at a higher education level when it seems the rest of their education is pretty much non-existent.
So the kind of bullying I thought used to only be on TV shows or movies, actually is prevalent here, maybe elsewhere too, maybe even in Malaysia but most definitely not where I grew up so its a huge fucking realisation that the morals and manners of youth anywhere is on huge decline.
